Default FPV a design hypothetical

Congratulations, you have won the "FPV I just need one" lottery and your prize is a custom built FPV.

Luckily FPV have found enough bits in their goody box to make one of any model they have ever built.

As the Boss 5.4 no longer complies with the ADRs your custom FPV will have to be fitted with a 5 litre supercharged engine and as ithe would tend to break some of the old transmissions, manuals will be T6060, autos will be ZF.

Every and any option is available but the car built must be exactly the original except for the engine and trans of course.

So as not to upset the collectors they will not make a Cobra or GT40.

The car can never be sold, modded or raced and once it is 5 years old (assuming you have not broken it) will be displayed in the Discovery centre.

So what do you want them to make you?
What is your favourite FPV style?

Me, I would choose a Blueprint BA GT-P as that was my first FPV and I miss it. (I know where it is and if it ever gets put up for sale I will be in like Errol).

I thought about that but the body control systems of the AU and prior are too different otherwise a T3 with a S/C Coyote would be on the poll and I suspect would rate well.

Manual T3 TS50 shell.

If not a BF2 GT-P with ALL the fruit. Manual of course, and an upgrade from the standard 335kw

I will have one you forgot about;

F6X with a Miami sounds very nice. I would prefer a manual, but I will settle for auto. It has to be AWD.

When you confirm the win, I will decide on the colour!

none of the above :(
I'd start with a F6-E or a GT-E and raid the parts bin from Ford globally to bring it up to the spec of a proper fast exec saloon.

No the idea is to make an exact replica of any prev model with the new engine.

Anyone can make a new FG bitsa right now.

Yes I did forget about the F6X........unfortunately as did most customers

Hypothetically? Yes, warehouses full.

Maybe in celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the vehicle Ford decided to make a one off of any generation Falcon. That would've been a really cool competition; hypothetically I would have entered it.

I picked FG F6 sedan. Should have picked a FG F6 ute. Optioned up with something that produces decent power, a 115,000hp GE90-115B.

Stuff the nancy I6T and S/C V8! After 5 years it can be put on display at QFOM

FG GT-E in Burgundy, in manual, supercharged. I will be the happiest chap!!

And when petrol hits $2.50 p/l, enter mad max GT-E sanded and sprayed in matt black (including the chrome) fitted with huge tanks in the boot/back seats filled with fuel bought with life savings...all wired and plumbed in.

Fit wider rubber if possible, factory wheels will do (probobly not but we are speaking hypothetical)

Take the headlights apart and spray the innard's body colour while keeping the inner beam slightly unpainted (id probobly be more inclined to acutally leave them as is ), put it back together and refit. Install HID in the driving lamps.

Remove all trim and seats from the rear section (tanks will be there anyway), remove the rear door handles, rivet a thin metal plate over each of the holes.... 2 spare wheels will live behind the front bucket seats infront of the food/water/ammo/spare bits/other items. Remove all badges.

Rough chop...

The discovery center will never see it

Id find it hard to pick between a BA2 (BA because their colours are better than BF) GTP manual in Citric Acid and Black stripes or a new FG GTE - but a manual.

The bogan in me loves wild colours and stripes, but the allure of subtle and manual is nice too.

Are you getting at the fact that FPV should stop pretending they produce their products in "mass" and should offer the consumer what they want? Because it really would not be hard, at all, to offer the GTE in a manual. They really have nothing to loss in that regard and potential to gain, for nil cost to them.
