As most of you are WELL AWARE kids go back to school within the next 2 days...
Just be abit more vigilant when driving around and remember the 40km/hr inclusion zones etc.... Its always a real shame to see a little kid get injured, or even worse......

Absolutely right Blanky, and for those of us on the North Shore of Sydney, who must face the Pacific Hwy every morning, let us rejoice in the 57 different speed zones within 15km of road! Praise be to the NSW Government, the RTA, and Harold!

I'd hope you'd be paying attention during the holidays! Little bastards running around on the road all the time.
At least I can now go to the movies without ripping some little idiot's head off. |

However, I drive in the comfort of knowing that the 500% increase in traffic which accompanies the end of school holidays should remove all danger of me achieving a cruising speed.

/sarcasm off Given that most of these "road hogging" mothers are doing local trips in the suburbs, hardly venturing onto main roads, taking young kids to school because there is no adequate public transport, its not safe for young children to ride bikes anymore (remember that thread? They should be paying rego apparently), being careful and slow because they are carrying children in the car who they do not want killed by people not giving way at round-a-bouts and most of these mothers are making sure their children have the best possible chance at an education.... I think you can learn to deal with it. Next you'll be complaining about all those damn cars filling up all the good parking spots at safeways just because those damn brats want to eat before they go to bed.
