Yep, RACQ has lost me.
I recently moved out of home, and being the good person I am, changed my address. When I went to RACQ to change my address, they informed me that my insurance premium would have to go up, because where I live now is more "densely populated" than where I used to live, which means that there's more chance of my car being broken into/stolen and told me that it would be a $17 a year increase. Which I thought was fair enough, so I went on my merry way. I just checked my Internet banking to find out it was $17 a month it was to increase. They originally told me it was a year. Now, before anyone asks, they were having printer problems and said to me that they'd send out my new insurance contract, which I haven't got. Insurance renewal is in July, and I'm not renewing it with them. My question is, who should I go to that's good with insurance for younger drivers? The only other thing is that it has to be Pay By The Month...

I got something in the mail and decided to check it out:
www.budgetquote.com.au It knocked $800.00 off my current insurance premium with GIO. But there's no options to specify modifications, so might not be good for "enthusiasts."

Just bear in mind that the cheapest is not necessarily the best. I use QBE (phone 131 101) and find them excellent, but I'm 39.

Funny thing is though that everyone else I've tried online quotes are dearer than RACQ...

I looked through their benefits and was pretty impressed. Was expecting a no-frills type deal.
Hmm, I always thought that RAC would be one of the highest.

I just wish I could find someone who will do under 25's and cover all my mods. I have everything covered at the moment through CUNA, but Ive done all I can do, with them still covering me, and I still pay around $1900 a year.

My car has a heap of mods and so long as they pass a road worthy then they will cover my car .. So far i have had no trouble at all with them.. I have found them so good so far that im changing my house insurance over to them .

trick_xd..I am also insured with AAMI, they had the cheapest quote in Queensland for a Fairmont V8. 1 claim , no hassles. Give AAMI a ring.
