Saw an odd thing during the last week, an all-black Benz SUV with US-style interceptor nudge bar, antennae and light bar, it was moving at a fair clip between Ermington and Eastwood/Epping, via a rat run. No markings I could see, but we were going opposite ways.
Is this a NSW Police trial vehicle or just some security business shaking hands with themselves? |

I’ve seen the federal armoured X5s but not NSW units. This being a Benz and the atypical front bar caught my attention.

It may have been a GLE or GLS. The encounter was too quick for a look that allowed identification. Rear of cabin fairly “boxy”.
