Hey all, I'm planning to remove my heavy duty (2300kg) Hayman Reece tow kit from my AU1 sedan, I don't imagine it'll be too difficult, but is there anything to watch out for? I know there's some tricks with the utes, is the sedan just a matter of undoing the bolts and pulling it off? I imagine the rear bar might need to come off too. Thanks in advance, Matt.

im not sure what the heavy duty towpacks look like, but with mine, when the rear bar was off, it just looked like a bunch of bolts etc. shouldnt be too hard?
if the hayman reece ones had a 'tongue' just remove that bit and forget about the stuff you cant see :P

Even with the tongue out it sticks out a fair bit... Won't look 'right' once it's lowered and exhaust's done etc, and I'll never use it.

But it makes the rear of your car stronger and could avoid some damage.

That's the only positive, I had 2 fools run into the back of my EA, this at least protects me a bit, but I'll take that chance. If I drive fast enough no-one will hit the back of me

If its anything like the EA-ED one I put on my car, it required about 3 x 13mm holes to be drilled, and is not any easy removal, the rear bar will need to come off.
