Guys, if there is something i have learnt, smooth on the upshift, and heel toe on the downshift. You dont need to go hammering through the gears on the upshift, what are you going to prove?? .01 of a second?? Thats only good for drag racing. If you like your twisties and things like that, nice an easy on the upshift and heel toe it on the down for a smoother transition between the gear ratio's. My car is easier to heel toe, but i use to do it with an EF XR8 which had a massive gap as well, its important, and will save your box in the long run (not doing it at all also helps this, but its no fun).
