Default XC Coupe Highway patrol car smashed

Here is an interesting find. Im visiting my elderly parents at the moment & when going through some old photos & paper clippings Mum came across an old news paper article about a highway patrol car that had been crashed into. She said "check this out Jack, you might be interested" At first she said it was an old Monaro, but i soon realized it was an XC Coupe. We used to live in a small neighboring village, I was only a few months old when this article was written. It was published in the Quirindi Advocate on Wednesday July 12th 1978.

It would be intetesting to find out more about this car, maybe there are other members here that know what became of it after the crash.
