Hi Guys/Girls
have a problem that I hope you can help me with. When I'm @ 90-100% of CPU the computers alarm kicks in @ 60C and tell me its overheating. Motherboard temp 31c CPU temp 44C HDD1 30C HDD2 32C these figures are at CPU usage of 10% when ripping these figures goes to Motherboard 33C CPU hovering at 62C HDD1 and HDD2 @ 35C,also temp goes up when trying to do a disc clean. Ive clean most to the dust gathering around the fan @ cpu fan @ video card and fan @ the pwr supply. Could this be that the thermal paste is dried up or do I need another fan. Its a P4 Motherboards a Gigabyte GA-8S651M-Rz(C) Chipset a SIS 651 and 1gb Ram with 2 HDD one 60gb other 160gb. Also can this motherboard handle more than what the alarm tell me. Thanks in advance cheers |
