Default Australian Ford Forums 2nd National Dyno Event. (11th August 2007)

AFF & Sponsors would like to invite our members to our 2nd National Dyno Event.
This is an event where every member who wants to participate in Australia can get involved.
There will be a Dyno shoot out held on the same day in all states.
There are 5 classes.

Class 1: Ford 4 cylinders. (All Ford powered 4 cyl cars)
Class 2: Ford 6 cylinders. (All Ford powered 6 cyl cars)
Class 3: Ford 8 cylinders. (All Ford powered 8 cyl cars)
Class 4: Ford Forced induction. (All Ford powered forced induction cars including NOS)
Class 5: Other (All cars that are NOT a Ford or any race car)

There will be a winner and a runner up in each class from each state.
All classes in each state will be awarded an AFF trophy for the winner & a certificate for the runner up.
State champions: after all results are in from every State, AFF Admin will award 1 car from each class as the AFF grand Champion.
So the end results: we will finish up with 5 State Champions with 5 runner ups & 5 Grand Class Champions.
State Champions & runner-ups will have their trophies & certificates presented to them on the day, the Grand Champions well have their trophy sent out to them.
The lowest recorded power from each state will win an AFF shirt.

We want to keep the Classes simple; I know some members will see some negatives from different Dyno etc, in read outs in different weather and other conditions.
Like all Ford Forum events the aspects of the day is member involvement and have some FUN, a social gathering of car enthusiasts.
Would like to see a big member involvement, and encourage all members regardless of the power your car makes get behind this event. Meet all your AFF mates, it’s a good chance to have a chat and breathe in some good fumes have a snag or two.
The Shops hosting the Dyno event are open to questions about your car and future mods & plans you may have in mind.
Like all AFF events you must obey the site rules and conditions and anyone who can’t, may be banned for life.
Yes you can bring a mate to enter this event but they well need to register here AFF to be involved in the official results and trophies.
All names will need to be on record here before the event so our hosts can keep track of cars out there dyno result.

There may be a need for minium numbers in some states for this to go ahead and there will be a maximum number in some states also.
The starting time will be announced at a later date, this could depend on the amount of cars entering and different state time frames.

The cost is $45 for 2 Dyno pulls; AFF donating members get a $5 discount.
This includes sausage sizzle and soft drink.
Because we had many names on the lists last time that didn’t turn up you will have to pay in a deposit of $20, if you're a DM you pay a $15 deposit.
The other $25 you will pay on the day.
This is to help cover costs the shops running this event on the day, opening their doors, supplying BBQ, drinks and have wages to pay. This $20 is non refundable.
Deposits can be made into this account (SEE BELOW)
Please put down your AFF user name, we will have a separate thread for payment only, once you have paid your deposit post your name and the date paid in.
If you don’t have internet banking you can deposit the money over the counter, again make sure the bank teller lists your AFF user name so we know where the funds have come from.
Some shops may have a few giveaways.
Our good friends who are helping us with the running of this event are our site sponsors.
To help with lists and payments and the organising of this event, the list will be closed 7 days before the event.
I know these locations are never going to suit everyone, there is plenty of time to for all members get organised.
Organise a cruise, come as group, and show some Australian Ford Forum muscle.

It’s a good time to become a donating member; we are working on more discounts for DM’s, & from as low as $20 a year, here is your 1st saving.
Please note all shops will have their own disclaimer to sign before you can run on the dyno.
It’s your job to ensure your car has plenty of water and oil and has no obvious leaks, if there is a problem with your car; don’t put it on the dyno talk to the operator 1st.

The Dyno operator is in control of the Dyno and the number recorded on the Dyno is the one that is forwarded as the official result.
