i feel your pain. ive been done kind of the same.. i was doing a pretty huge burnout and got caught. car gone for 2 days and when i picked it up (the windows were up obivously) there was still smoke haze inside the car.
***** happens guys all the older people will say we are young hoons, but i know for a fact if my old man got caught doin these things the local cop would give them a slap on the wrist and ask whats under the bonnet. We know live in society where punishment is handed out so eagerly without the thought for driver training or education.. who says that i cant control my car better sideways than the 17 year old fresh licence person driving a corolla can at 60ks..?? who says a typhoon going 160 with 6 spot brembos cant stop quicker than the same corolla doing 100..? You have to put things in perspective sometimes.. without judgement on numbers or fines or statistics. My best mate has lost 16 points in under 2 years of driving.. but i trust his driving more than any of my friends who havent lost a point. driver skill is not based on points.. loss of no points is merely the ability to restrain yourself and drive slow. simple as that. yeah ive done advanced an defensive driving courses.. im only 19 but have been driving for a number of years and take every chance i get to learn more. as for the 'dob in a hoon' i personally think its total and utter garbage. i mean what does our club have at stake really..? apparently we will get a reputation as hoons.. well heres some news guys.. if you drive a modified car then the public.. A Current Affair, police, whoever, already generalise us as hoons. i wouldnt dob in anyone for doing a little burnout or racing someone. If they did something stupid then it is there responsibility and they should learn from the matter.. our society is turning into a very petty place to live. you cant voice an opinion.. whether it be on a forum or verbally without being silenced by do-gooders. |
