Hey All,
In regards to restrictions for P-platers, what counts as a modification to the engine and what doesnt? is a 2.5 inch cat back exhaust system illegal just because of its width, regardless if i keep the cat, muffler and resa? Im a victorian by the way, obtained my licence after July 1st. Internal engine modifications are quite easy to get away with and are of no worry to me. I have a pod filter i know thats illegal :evil3: as well as a home made cold air intake. Im to impatient to wait till i am off my p-plates. Engine modifications are all around my life and family so im craving it. Extractors illegal too? even though i am sure i could hide them with a decent sized heat shield...Im just curious as ill probably do all this anyway, but i would like to find as many loop holes as possible, as well as keep most mods hidden in secrecy. The pod i have to build a heat shield for anyway, or ill just return it to stock air box with better flow. Any advice or ideas guys i dont know where to look or call for the REAL technicalities. |
