Default Number ID on 2L pinto motors

ok well from what i could find so far the motors we picked up are all early cortina motors. All engine numbers start with CG and all have the 70HM6015BA mark on the block.

but what i really want to know is what do the T numbers mean. example; we have now a T4.Z block, 2 T5's, 1 T6, 1 T9, 1 T 10 and 2 T11's. but what do they mean. are they revisions or is it something very small and insignificant

also. we have 2 motors with Blue rocker covers and 2 with black rocker covers.

is it the same as the smaller motors with the black being the High Comp. and the blue being the low?
