Much to the dismay of the "look at me" crowd as of next month fog lights will now be illegal to operate when there is no fog, night or day.
To make it even more fun my spys tell me that they don't even need to pull you over. Like seatbelt and mobile phone offences all they need to do is take you piccy with the speed camera (which are manned by Police in QLD) and you get a fine in the mail. Looks like captain bligh has found another cash cow..........  P.S. Driving lights must operate with high beam so if your defense is that they are not fog lights then you must admit driving on high beam which is a bigger fine and more points.
