FINALLY proven
I saw the transport inspecter yesterday and asked about having a cat or not on lpg he said no u do not need to have one but he'll double check he got back to me today and stated that on a light vehicle running only gas you do not need a catalytic converter on the car for pre 2000 vehicles 2000 onwards you need an emissions test done (with no cat) and if u pass(same or better emissions than factory standard for that model car) they can print you out a statement saying u don't need one This is what i've been told by the QLD transport inspection agency
