I have to admit, in the past I thought that all falcon drivers were bogans.
Many people, especially younger ones, associate falcon / commodore drivers with boganism. I thought that a 4 banger Japanese car would be the car that I ultimately liked the best, and anything by ford was going to be a bit crappy. I decided to get a car though, and was able to obtain a falcon in a deal, and I am really happy with it. So far it's been so comfortable, smooth, good air-conditioning, good seat sizes, good power, good grip, good brakes & good price. I've had to up my fuel consumption by $20 a week, but I get to drive in comfort and have an auto box doing all my work for me as I lounge back listening to 4BC or some music. All the work I've had done on the car so far has been fairly cheap, all parts I've been looking for have been found easily. I am actually surprised that if i was to upgrade cars again I'd probably seriously look at another newer falcon, because hey it may not be the most exciting thing ever but it does its job great and its comfy roomy and a good quality car for the money. |
