Default Accuracy of water meter readings

As seems to be the new " sport" in SE QLD, we're currently engaged in a dispute over a water meter reading. One thing that certainly bumped me up the ladder vis a vis supervisors communicating with us was my statement to the effect that I would pass my thoughts to the local state member.

In effect, my view is that water meter readings should be available to the consumer as soon as practicable to the reading date. At present, it seems a bit futile to argue aver reading that were done almost 6 months ago.

So, have some fun. Write to your local member, and see if we can persuade
water utility companies to provide timely water meter readings.

cheers

Steve

ps..our current "metered" consumption is way below normal, so we will pay less next account. However, that will be at tier 1 pricing. The previous gouge bumped us into the more expensive tier 2, so , in effect, the companies win with erroneous readings.
