Well, it only seems like yesterday when i was showing you all the 17" MP3s i bought, well after a little mishap whilst my wife was driving, then the new rim coming damaged and was not covered under the couriers insurance, I decided to go for a new look.....
I think it is called the "JDM" look, being drift style wheels. also pictured is my basically finished new badgeless grill in matte black. The wheels are Advanti Talons, in gunmetal 4x108 direct drill (always like this than the multifit) 17x7 +45 offset. These sit 4mm further out than the MP3s giving it a nice fat stance. The tyres are Nexen N1000, so far a great and quiet tyre (all 100 and 110 freeway on the way home) A nice aggresive tyre and not as cheap as i thought they would be. This afternoon and onto tomorrow, my XR4/ST spolier will be glued on and i will upload some pics then. Also on the cards are some new rotors, BUT, if all goes to plan they will be 280mm instead of the piddley 260mm. Should fill out the new rims nicely. (59k on original pads and rotors is pretty good if you ask me.) Here are the photos.. Waiting at the Wheel place very patiently in the shadows... You can see the grill, but not very well. Then, "BAM" a new look I am very very happy with. Back home and in some decent light. The expected side on shot! Hope you all enjoy. Cheers
