Default Few 99 AU Forte Questions

1.

Iv noticed when I give it some.. when it reaches approx. 60-80kms and its still revving hard the Battery light flashes on and off a few times.. what is the cause of this?

2.

The next question is probly connected to the first question. I had my stereo installed on wednesday.. even prior tot he stereo being installed the problem in question 1 was happening.. however, the Headunit fails to store any information.. such as presets, settings, etc. Is this connected to the first question.. maybe the result of a faulty battery or alternator.

The stereo consists of a Sony Xplod HU.. 250watt 2 channel Xplod Amp and 12" Song Sub.

Iv also noticed, since in the installation of the stereo, the Headlights dim with the bass.. Im guessing this is just down to dodgey installation?

Question 1 is the most important.. I can deal with Question 2's problem.
