Well a few people might not know how to get onto #eseries so here is a quick guide.

1. You need what is called an IRC client. #eseries is "channel" on a "Internet Relay Chat (IRC)" and you need a client in order to access it. The most common is Mirc (http://www.mirc.co.uk) and the latest vers is 6.15 as of today. It is about 1.3mb and will take around 10 mins or less on a dialup connection.

2. Once you download it and install it (double click or open the file you downloaded and follow the prompts) run Mirc. It will show this screen:

4. Click on the Servers tab and select the Austnet: Random AU server



5. Click on the "Connect To Server" button.

6. It will say in the corner "connecting to au.austnet.org" or something similar.

7. Upon connection a window will popup with a set of predermined channels. Close this window.

8. In the bottom of the main background screen type in "/j #eseries"

9. You should be there now - be warned of MightyEFGhia, Walkinshaw, AaronEF8, FordGirl, and EFFalcon (they live there LOL..)



If you have any problems then it will most likely be with step 6. Sometimes the servers go down and it will try and reconnect to alternate servers on the Austnet system. They will all have #eseries.
