Go to wreckers and get an alloy drive shaft..
Just measure yours first I'm sure they are the same length through all E series.... Alloy shaft are used on Tickford / commercial and some Fairmonts....

ive owned 3 xr6's ef. ef2. el none have had alloy shafts... they're rare as anything.

tailshaft is like $32 at pik a part, try find one with good unis. Don't forget to get the bolts and nuts too. :O

$40 from wrecker near me.. uni's fine...
and guess what... ALLOY! the bloke thought it was just black painted steel though... all good... did my rack bushes too while i was there.. now to take on sump gasket soon..
