You'de reckon the US would have a good chance of knowing what's going on over there, with the strength of radar and satellite technology they can probably tell when Kim Jong wipes his bum... and even more so recognise launch or detonation sites

Yes the US used that same technology to find evidence of weapons of mass destruction existing in Iraq which they then used to justify their invasion and occupation of that country. :

Its extremely difficult for sattelites to pick up the manafacture of biological and chemical weapons that are being developed in under ground concrete bunkers.

Probably just cold war trash talking...
There you all go, some useless trivia for the day!

This is an interesting read, a little simplistic, but well written. Also the direction I believe this situation will lead.

US Intelligence is claiming they found radioactive material in samples they took a few days after the test... altho the first couple of days they were coming back empty handed.

I love this sort of stuff....

No everyone in the USA is really stupid and have done nothing for mankind.
Of course you are reading this on computer technology originally developed in the USA by the yank military.
This forum is based on products built by a company that originated in the USA using processes originally developed in USA.
Many think the yank military have never done anything for Australia although I notice that this forum is in English not Japanese. Despite the global insanity of the last 60 years there has NOT been a nuclear war or global pandemic.
Every time the yanks do something wrong we know all about it, they always air their dirty laundry and take responsibility for their deeds.

If you really think that the yanks are a bad bunch I recommend you travel a bit to other parts of the world.......

It is not the yankee population which is the problem - it is their government.

Well its better than N.Korean intelligence, because the way they are going about this is ALL wrong.Right now they have a "couple of friends" but if they push this envelope of theirs, well even their friends are going to turn on them.Surely Kim can not be this stupid, after seeing what happened in Iraq, as to keep provoking all the other countries. Maybe he is lost in his own little fantasy world, somewhere.

Problem is if the US did nothing about Iraq and it turned out he had WMD and sold them off to Terrorists, who then used them against Israel/Europe/Asia guess who's be getting the blame for not doing anything about it when they suspected that may be happening?
The USA of course. They'll will cop flack regardless of what they do.

The World is not a computer game or a TV show, its alot more complicated than most think. You dont get to solve everything in one episode, or reload the save when something doesnt pan out the way you want.
