Angry Look what they did to my car

Well, I was getting my car out of the garage this morning and what to I find...a nice big dent in my door.

Not sure how I missed it last night but I'm not too happy right now. It must have happened yesterday while I was at TAFE.

Can someone give me a rough idea on the cost to repair something like this.

Only a door at least, get a white door from a wrecker and swap that on, should not be hard to pick one up, might cost about $100 and a few hours of work.

a door from a wreckers will cost you $400 + i know cause ive just bought one for a car.
You might be lucky and get a white one then you dont need to paint it,but a new door painted and fitted is more than likely going to cost 600 ish

What the hell caused that damage?

Most of that dent is around a support bar on the inside of the door. You'd be better off replacing with with another door...

I was thinking pick-a-part and strip the door bare, $400 for a stripped door is a bit steep.

That what I would like to know.

I still cant see how people can hit a car and not care at all and just drive off.

Geez... Nice dent there mate. Looks like someone hit it when trying to park next to you, as they were pulling in the corner of the car got a bit close going by the angle and the black rubber on it :P Not sure how much it would cost to get fixed though, If it were me I'd get a new panel from the wreckers cuz if it gets repaired you'd prob still see where it was and all...

Costs about $80 just for the lock actuator at the wreckers. The whole door would be well over $100 meez thinks ..

people are ********* at Uni's and Tafe's.

they dont give 2 shits about their cars, so naturally, they dont give a **** about other peoples either.

when i got my car, there were ZERO dents. i'd had them all removed. now there are about 4 or 5. ALSO, there are marks on my bonnet and bootlid, where ********* have put their books on my car, and they have slid off or whatever. ******* shits me bad.

AND i do try and park away from people, but its not always possible.

yeah this sort of stuff gets me fired up. :togo:

That's crap that people do that and drive off, I guess to look on the bright side at least your front guard isn't damaged, that would make it exponentially more expensive to fix.

Since your up for some dough, get some clear repeaters for your guards. May as well spend another $30. They look great on white AUs.
