Default Chip off the old block

I can't help it. Many of you probably know how good it feels when your son decides: "Dad's car is pretty cool, I might buy one as well"?

I can tell you, it feels even better when BOTH sons decide to follow in your footsteps!!!!!

Attached picture: My BA XR8 ute, No 1 Son's BAII XR6 ute, and now (many thanks to Zhodak!) No 2 Son's AU XR6 ute.

Now, how do I convince the wife that she needs to buy a Super Pursuit?

You've inspired me to contribute...

Here is one of the (for some reason) few shots of my XB (currently in parts in the garage).

And here is my first XB. Or, if you wanna be technical about it, the old man's wagon. That's me giving it a rub down, way back in the day.

That's about the best photo I've found of dad's wagon. Sadly. Don't remember it actually being around, but it's definately good knowing where my passion came from.

Quite the contrary! But not an Au vs Ba thread.......

It is good when they decide the ricer or another brand would be better cos Dad's looks daggy. I have to hide the keys almost so he doesnt drive mine but now getting a collection of his own with 2 ZJ Fairlanes now on the go at 18 years!

It's an S1.... enough said.

Good to see that the family's blood runs blue! Same here. For the past 10 years we have owned nothing but Fords.

XA, XB, XC
2x 88 XF's
XF Ute
EB
EL
AU3 XR
BA XT

And hopefully soon an XR6T

the au xr was the only au's i liked actually.

still go a ba xr8 any day but AU not bad.

it is funny how kids want to follow their parents.

i allways wanted to get an xt falcon (the classic ones not the base model new things)
just beacause one of my dads first cars was an xt
but due to money i ended up with a white ed falcon which happens to remind me of our old white ea.
coincidence?
