Default How To remove parcel shelf??

hey guys
im needing to remove the factory subwoofer and rear speakers

ive been told the speakers are a case of popping out the grills/covers and unscrew and remove

but the sub is a little bigger than the hole....

how do i remove the parcel shelf or at least get the sub out??

You are correct, the parcel shelf cover has to be removed to remove the sub.
It is held in by those push in plastic plugs, just fold down seats and remove them as well as any plastic bits on the shelf itself.
The only real problem is the middle seat belt as it goes through the parcel shelf, but all you do is bend the cover gentlyfrom the centre to clear the side pieces and just leave the seatbelt in place but unraveled and the parcel shelf will be out far enough to access the sub.

pull out ur rear base/cushion...undo the two side bolsters with one 10 mm bolt on each side down the bottom...these just pop out pull pushing upwards...undo the 3 christmas tree plugs at the front and the 3 other plugs on the top (just get side cutters onto these)....the tray will then pull toward the front releasing the seat belt with it....replace in reverse...hope this helps
