Default My EA.

Alrighty...

1989 Series I S-Pac 3.9 MPFI 5 Speed with 249,000km's :P

thought it was a steal at $1600...the only things wrong are that the boot strut doesn't hold, and the coolant sensor always says that it needs more coolant, even though it is full, and when on full lock, it makes a giant screeching noise...I'm thinking that it is one of the belts slipping?

anyway, I removed the rear louvre, and it leaves these clip thingys...what is the best way to remove them? They come off with a screwdriver pretty easily, but it's the gunk stuff underneath that won't come off...

also, how do i get this thing off?

So yeah... there it is :P

The windshield comes off pretty easy, just a screw. But it leaves glue crap under it.
I took my EB to the local panel beaters and they got rid of it in 10minutes for free.
They had so power tool that did the job quick smart.

eucolyptus oil. That's what your mum would use. ;) jk. :P

Looks good matey. Actually it's kinda identical to my first EA. MPI 5 speed, same colour, but yours looks to be in better condition.

Loose the 12 slotters for some black steelies and dump it!

Congrats.

Yeah, a razor blade will scrape most of it off, metho will also get the glue off, or toothpaste if you're desperate.....

What are you doing with the 12 slotters?

Looks nice. At least without the weathershields, it doesn't look like a family hack. One thing I noticed though, it has the colour-coded b-pillars, yet you say it's Series 1. I thought Series 1 had black with Series 2 getting the colour-coded pillars.
