base model ba's dont have leather, premium sound. so i doubt they would be as good. my mum drives a ba xt and the difference between the two is alot for starters if i gave her a 200m head start id catch her before she knew it
mine is more comfortable to cruise in, the only thing that is fun in her car is the SSS but even that gets boring after a while.

You guys need to ship them to Perth...they'll sell like hot cakes.
The choice of Tickford cars here in WA is abysmal. I remember trying to find a manual XR6 6 months ago and the only 2 I could find were thrashed (one at a caryard actually had tyre rubber all over the rear mud guards!!!! : ). FALKEEN; if you drove your XR8 to Perth I would have a bank cheque in your hands in 5 secounds for your car. I've had my XR6 for a 6 months now and wish I had spent a few more dollars and bought the V8. It still cost me 14'000 and that was a bargain.

He is right. I'm in Perth and muckin around I went to my local Ford Dealer and they offered me $15000 on a trade on my Tickford AUIII XR8. I laughed, ten minutes later I got a call offering $17000. The day before a kid down the streat offered 22000 cash and I have over 100 000k's on the clock

So now I'm stuck here with an Auto XR6 until someone sells a manual AU2/3 XR8 for 14K or less. I just can't stomach the thought of spending $1000+ on shipping a car across the Nullabor.
