Hey,
Ive got an xb gt sedan and i need to work out the way you are supposed to paint the scuttle up to suit the bonnet. Wondering what gap you should use in between the inner and outer black lines. Can anyone give me the proper dimensions, Like measurements to start 1st black line, gap between the 1st black and the middle black strip. Would be much appreciated. thanks |

Okay. Just measured the bonnet on mine.
The main contrast panel (Low Gloss Black or Silver) is hard against the edge of the last pressed vent in the Scuttle. The gap between it and the outter stripe is 1/2". The Outter Stripe is 5/16" wide. The Stripe and painted out patch go straight down the bonnet to the Scoops, whee they then follow the curve pressed into the leading edge of the Scoops. The Contrast panel and Stripes end 1/2" from the leading edge of the Bonnet. Trust this helps.
