Wouldn't be a Holden since it was in Israel or somewhere.

Just looks like the Horse didn't see the car and did it's best not to die.

That happened to my Grandfather years ago when he was a taxi driver.
He told his passenger to duck under the dashboard, and the horse went through the windscreen.
Killed the horse, wrote off the taxi, but Dar and the passenger were fine.

When I was diary farming some pricck opened up our road gate and a cow was hit by a mini .. It ended up in back seat.. What a freagen mess.. I had to shoot the cow.. At the time the driver was responsible.. Only if it was proven the farmer was negligible to having bad fencing, gates etc..
Lucky the driver and passenger didn't get hurt!! Yes hard to believe !!

horses and cars are not a very good mix.

years ago a mate hit a horse in his HQ monaro and it caved in the windscreen and roof killing his girlfriend and the car.

i was driving home one night in dad`s XY wagon and a bunch of horses came galloping up the road , i stoped and most of them went around then last one looked like it was going to come straight into the front of the car but it tured at the last minute and then kicked the LHF door in as it went past.

many, many years ago, when I was about 5, my mum and I were on an old red rattler (anyone remember those?) heading to Melbourne. We were going through a very small country town and a horse had got loose from some sort of yard, just near the railway crossing.

Anyway, the horse ran right straight towards the railway crossing and into the very window of the very the carriage I was in. Glass went everywhere, I was most blessed not to have been cut to shreds.

Thank God.

Remember how darn cold they were in Winter? I remember under one of the benches in each cabin, there were these metal oval shaped devices, that were heaters.

I wonder how they did it? Kero and burning inside? Probably not. Hot oil poured in somehow?

In any case, yeah very fond memories.
