Ford HQ are clearly very impressed with FoA engineering capabilities. Ford Australia has the ability to design a vehicle not just from the ground up, but successfully rework an existing design and do it really cost competitively both in engineering and retail aspects.

Looks like those years of developing good cars on a shoestring budget is finally paying dividends. And we've seen with the T6 what FoA can do with an open cheque book...

The more that Ford HQ positively reflect upon the accomplishments of Ford Australia, the better that reflects on the Falcon and Territory and what they are, what has been and what can be done with them.

I don't know what your take is on little "Ford designers and engineers almost wiping the board clean from AU to BA, and in the process spending just over $500 million, a figure much larger than previously anticipated." (Wikipedia) |

Awesome news for Australia...as a country we're certainly proving that we're ideas people...
As for the non-conducive posts... Go crawl back under your rocks...if you've got nothing nice to say...don't say it.
