That's one, more or less.

In a nutshell - it's a magnet you stick over the fuel line that does SFA. Besides sticking your kid's homework to the fridge door, of course.

why is it such a laugh..if that was the only item someone needed to complete a restoration then why shouldn't someone pay money for something that doesn't do a damn thing.....
Probably better than paying money for an item that actually hurts the performance of the car, and there are plenty of ford fans who will pay money for the one item that restricts the performance of their car...

anyone ready to guess?

As far as i know superconductors dont work at room temperature let along inside and engine bay, and what does resistance in electrical circuts have to do with polarising fuels?

Ok here we go the real story about when Brock went of he's rocker???????

One of my first jobs was working for a local Holden dealer, and at that time we were selling Brock cars. Then the Brock cars came in, they were not fitted with the gizzom, we had to fit them at PD. The reson was, that was the time Holden wouldn't let him sell the cars with them already fitted. They were testing them in GM HQ in the states. But were finding that they did nothing, so they would not let him be put on a car that was carrying the GMH name. Well we all know what happened in the end so I wont go into that.
When we were fitting them there were clear instrutions in the way it had to go on...

Firstly the box, BTW "we pulled one apart" there were two strip magnets, 1. facing north south. and 1. facing south north, and stuck together with some sort of glue.{araldite} Anyway there was also a sticker that was the so called aerial" that had to be stuck on the rear window in an precise spot to get this "aline the moleculles[spelling] in the metal??? _ anyway in the end when it was found out to be a hoex: Holden were making us remove them.
So the hole story about the Polariser, is all about Brock making money by conning Holden buyers into buying something that was supposed to all this crap, and did nothing. I think they were about $600 when new.
You know the funny thing about this hole sorry story, is that he conned a lot of people, and not to mention GMH into beliving his clap trap. Arr yes Peter Perfect, one of the best conman the world has ever seen! & the funny thing about all this, is that he still is..... :

Someone told me recently that Brocky still believes these things work & were just "too far ahead of their time" to be understood by Holden. Does anyone know if this is true? I've never heard him come out & say "well yeah, it's just a magnet. Sorry about that!"

They were available to the VL range of Brock vehicles.

These days, the VL Group A SS Plus Pack (which has the polariser fitted) is worth more than the plain old VL Group A SS (which is classed as a Holden product, not a Brock). These were prior to the Grey Walkinshaw SS.

They were available in other VL Brocks like the HDT Aero, HDT Director, HDT Bathurst.....

It was claimed to harness all the "Energy" floating around the atmosphere, & align the fuel molecules so that they burnt better giving more power.
