That will do a great job at appealing to the 60+ crowd that still buys GM products even though nobody else does. They really just don't get it.

Fair call. I was just making sweeping generalisations. And FoMoCo is only now clawing its way back from the very same place. The big three forgot that they dominated for those decades because they made better products. They then tried to dominate because they were big. In the late 70s GM sold over 50% of the cars sold in the US. With that result how could you think you were doing it wrong.
