The Territory used to be exported to South Africa, but stopped for some reason.

They export 3/5ths of FA. The main reason local models are on the ropes.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid you don't get to decide what strangers post on internet forums.

Not much exported anymore. There is some Terri's going to Thailand again this year but small numbers...and NZas always.
There use to be a small number of Wagons going to the UK and as someone else mentioned Terri's were going to South Africa.

The reason I started this thread is because when the tropical cyclone that hit Samoa was in the news last month, I saw a silver AUII in the footage. |

NZ sales 2012.
Falcon, 1170 (Camry 1502, Mondeo 1623, Mazda 6 845) Territory, 1386 (Highlander 1779, Santa Fe 1733, Captiva 2506) Commodore, 2439 Im sure Aus sell/register more of them per month than a whole year in NZ. The AU and BA sold more than the FG. NZ market has done the same as the Aussie one, too much competition. Double cab utes and small gutless ******* SUVs replace traditional safe family cars. Gone are the days when the AU and VT were best sellers. I don't spend a lot of time in NZ these days but when im there it seems there is a lack of advertising and promoting of the Aussie Fords, no major city dealer has a Falcon sitting in the showroom, maybe a Territory. The ones that do have Falcons are smaller country dealers, they seem to sell better in rural areas. At least the Commodore is one of the best sellers still. |
