Hi guys.
Joining a car club and want to put the decal on my windscreen or back window of my ute but want to avoid a yellow sticker at all costs. Just wondering what laws and restrictions there are in regards to front and rear windscreen stickers? |

you can put/cover your whole back window if you want as a ute is a commercial vehicles and you dont need to see out the back window, that also why you can put darker tint on your rear window if you want to
but if you want to see out your back window just stick it behind the drivers side on your rear window

Front you can only have it right at the top. Is aloud to come down about 7.5-10 cms. Out it on the rear and you will have no problem what size it is

What state are you in ??? There's probably different legalities for each state.... About time we had a standardised set of rules for this type of stuff.

A good rule of thumb is stay outside the sweep of the wiper blades on the front.

I had the tint guys put a VERY dark front windscreen tint sash. These guys seemed to say you could go down as low as the bottom of your rearview mirror. Which on my car was well below the sweep of the wipers. (Triton ute). Probably 15cm I'd say. Havnt had any probs with anyone about it.
