Hi, What is the procedure for replacing front suspension ball joints? Thanks

It depends on what type of ball joint it is. Some Cougars have ball joints riveted to lower control arms. Meaning you need to replace whole control arm. Some have ball joints bolted to lower control arm that can be separated by 3 bolts with no need of removing control arm.

If you let me know what kind of ball joint you have I can send detailed DIY procedure.
