Maybe shoot an email to Brendan at Carbuilders...
http://www.carbuilders.com.au/index.php He maybe able to help, especially if you take a look at some of his gear
He is able to access cheap courier service from Melbourne to Perth. Basically, a truck heading west has bit of empty space, so slot the item in.

I used these guys about 2 years ago to get 4 off TTG rims from Perth (WA) to Sale (VIC). The price was very reasonable (around the $100 mark IIRC) and the service was just as good. I opted for the 'go slow' option, but the rims arrived about 1 week after they were picked up, and the packages were also in very good condition.

Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Hope that helps.

I regularly send wheels via couriers. I used to use E-go and Smartsend. I now only use E-go.com.au after having issues with smartsend.
