I've contacted Ford with a quiry regarding the opions available on the 94 ED Futura Classic however they could not tell me how many were released as a (GLi or Furtura) Classic can anyone help?
I ask this as I have seen two different "classic" decals used on the sides of the cars, one was a simple sticker whereas the other went for the length of the two doors. Or was the "classic" simply a stunt for for ford to put in a few extra options then it was called a classic? Did these come std with LSD Cheers newby :the_finge |

I dont even think ED Classics had electric windows.
Mainly, std A/C, Auto, Cruise 15" Alloys... They were pretty much a Futura with mags and pinstriping a classic badging

Does anybody know how many were released under the "classic" logo? as it is a limited edition as was the sprint.

The Sprint was a limited edition, the 'Classic' was a marketing ploy to clean out the old EA-ED stock before the EF was released. I still like them though, it's what I drove for 10 years before the Territory.

72,751 ED's were manufactured... I havent been able to find how many futura's.
As, Raptor said, Ford were putting all extra parts to have a clearout before the EF. All car manufacturers do it

I thought thats what the xh was for :evil_laug
The only extras classics had were the polished 15" alloys and some pinstriping / decals. No lsd's, no lecky windows, just a base model falcon.

So basically they were like the 30th anniversary fal(mine) not too many extras just promotion... The only extras I got was central locking, A electric boot opener, and the 4speed Electric trans? And a power button.(love that button) |

Classic was just a value pack released for a limited time. Free A/C, alloys etc, nothing to get too excited about.
