Probably new as special imports. I believe they have been around a while in internationally. Search for G35 and Skyline and you should find plenty of info. Interestingly enough there are no factory turbo models.

There's quite a few on the import yards now that I have seen along Parramatta Rd on the way into Sydney.

G35 is the top one.
The middle pic that is shown is what I have seen on car yards.
I still prefer the current model 350Z though

I take it you mean the 2nd pic showing the g35 as the GTR one with the funny lights is a prototype - it's never been produced

Have actually seen the pic under the G35 sitting in several car yards already along Parra Rd in a few import places ... there are some around.

If you mean this one
its a Proto-type, it's never reached production!

I'm disappointed by the design of the new Skylines. I also saw a 4-door version at the airport recently. It looks too small, definately built for smaller people. Very modern finish, though. Seems to come in one colour only? Hehe.

I quite like the G35. I've always liked the 350Z but wouldn't get one because it's a two-seater, the G35 fulfills that dilemma.

The first pic (blue car) is an R34 GTR, the second pic is a G35 (new model skyline), the 3rd pic is a prototype.

I just recently found out that Nismo have released a special edition Z-Tune R34 GTR, a couple years after they stopped producing R34's.

Basically Nismo built a limited set of 20 z-tune's which were created by first purchasing 20 R34 V-specs which met criteria such as having less than 30,000km and basically being pristine. The idea was to build "the strongest road-going car in the world", with all parts sourced from Nismo's racing car heritage.

The cars were then totally stipped, the body strenghtened and each one then hand built using custom parts developed by Nismo.

The exterior consisted of a lightweight shell with carbon fibre panels, suspension adopted from its proven GT500 race vehicles, 6-piston 365mm brakes developed in cojunction with Brembo, lightweight forged aluminum wheels built by Rays, carbon fibre tailshaft, transmission & diff oil coolers, 2.8L twin turbo (same as used in race cars).

The interior also featured a Multi-function display (MFD) featuring a data logger, lap time meter, and other functions.

When tested it ran a 10.6 straight out of the Nismo factory But of course these cars were designed for circuit and mountain runs not straight lines, but still not bad!

The price was somewhere between $200,000 - $300,000 and one of the 20 actually made it to Australia and of course its first run on Aussie tarmac was putting down some lap times

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the difference? I'm guessing a sway bar is adjustable? And a strut brace is as above, and not adjustable?

Strut brace is as above where it connects the two strut towers together and yes they are adjustable.

Sway bars are underneath the car, im led to beleive that XR6 etc have larger sway bars from factory compared to normal falcons, or you can buy bigger ones from places such as White Line.

Hopefully someone can explain it to me...

I know about the sway-bar, but what exactly does the strut-brace do? I just thought that they were there for looks...

strut brace increases the rigidity and stiffness of the ride, so for example at high speeds the car doesnt go all shakey and vibraty LoL bout as technical as i get

R34 anyday. Nissan really ruined the Skyline name with the V35. No skyline power no Skyline shape. Atleast could of put the rear double lights on it. The really screwed this one. Just like Holden screwed the commodore with the VE

I've read Nissan are going back to the Skyline roots in 2009 with the R36 Skyline. (R35 simply won't exist, or will be the V35 if you like)..RWD, I6...

Awesome.

The Skyline must have rear double lights! It is the trade mark.

Man what I would give for a Z tune. Apparently they are $330k landed provided you can find one.

Also there is the Top Secret R34 GT-R

The skyline stopped production in 1998. No new skylines will be made
