Well, its true. I was taking my trusty VS Ute to the shops to get timber and doors and paint, when 2 houses up, she lurched, then another 2 houses went by, and it lunched the fuel pump. : So, in reverse, and bouncing it home on the starter motor. Parked it on thefront lawn, and started to replace the bugger. Luck being, we had the car out the night before, and were on a fairly long drive, and it decided to hold off til we got home.
Damage, $100, and a few hours of my time.
