Hi fellow members just joined the Forum so a little history
I am 83 years of age and whilst i have owned quite a few F100's and Fords I currently have a 2006 Ford Falcon XR6 which was bought primarily to tow our caravan and what a fantastic vehicle it is for that purpose.

G'Day All,

Just joined on the occasion of the purchase of my 8th Ford in 37 years of driving! Unfortunately there wasn't enough space to list them all in my nickname, which would then have gone RobXT_XB_XB_XD_EA_EF_VJ (Transit)_TY!

I've never been able to buy new, always 2nd hand, (and a few of them were bombs in my younger years!), but all gave me great service despite various abuses such as over-loading, bush-bashing, towing and rusty boots from all that salty dive gear!

Absolutely loving my "new" 2010 Territory. It's a crying shame we won't be making these things in Australia any more.

Anyway, I'm off to post a question about putting my Territory on LPG!

Cheers,

Rob

G'day all.
New to this forum. Have been a fordman since forever. Car history re fords consist of 72 Capri GT, ZB Fairlane with a JG33 351Clevo, XP Delivery with a 250 & single rail, 66 Mustang convert, a 63 Tbird and throughout all of these my often neglected workhorse of a daily drive, 63 Compact Fairlane, which i still have 25 years later. I wish i still had all of these with the exception of the Stang & Tbird, the rest were great builds and great memories. I am currently really interested in early falcons especially the factory experiments around the time of the XMs. If anyone could steer me in the direction of source documents, it will be greatly appreciated.
Go the Aussie Fords!!!!

Hello,

I would like to see some pictures, your Car was a replacement for the GT after all the media stuff about super-cars. A mate had a 302 many years ago. I borrowed it to get some parts, and the brakes were stuffed. There was a split in the booster vacuum line, he thought it was normal for 4 Disk. I replaced the hose, and what a difference ! What is the rest of your driveline ?

Hi BF
The car is a 78 update with the original 351, FMX and 9 inch. Exactly as it came off the line. I'm working through the front end and a few thing for roadworthy. Colour is emerald green.

Hello,

You have all the good gear, a keeper for sure. There were many other things changed since the XB. As they get rarer, I think the values will increase to close to the GT's Do you have the factory twin exhaust rear bumper ?

Hi to all,Been a Ford fan all my life and now have my son on them as well.
I am new here just trying to help my son with his first car. He has a Bf XR6 Ute manual and wants to upgrade the stereo.
I have bought most of the new system, he wants to keep the standard
head unit
What is the best why to hook up a LOC. I have looked at a lots of posts how to do this but thought it might be good to ask anyway.
We are changing all speakers with mids and splits at the front and 3 way 5x7 in the rear with a 12" Sub with 2 amps to run it all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Hi folks - Dave here from Canberra.

Just recently became the owner of a 2011 Mondeo wagon in Titanium trim. I'd been looking for several months for a car to service the needs of our growing family (two doggies supplemented this year by a baby) and the waiting paid off when this one came up for private sale. Prior to that I was making friends with the idea of modding up a used LX (install DRLs, alloys + full size spare, possibly a touchscreen & reversing camera) but I was quite chuffed to get this one for the safety gear and sunroof

I've long been a Ford fancier, having imprinted on the brand when I was young watching the Bathurst 1000, but this will be my first experience with ownership. I'm with mistymoo, would have loved a G6E Turbo (devo that we'll soon no longer be building them!), but it wouldn't have stacked up without the wagon's space. I have form with the Euro cars though (last vehicle was an '04 Astra SXi) and I'm loving the Mondy so far

PS. Forgive my cringe-worthy username, the new parents' sleep deprivation is not conducive to originality -_-

Hey,

Recently joined up, been lurking for a bit, using a mates account while doing some research before buying a new "work" ute.

Deals have been done, and I pick up my 2013 FG Mkii XR6T either next weekend if I can get time away from work, or Xmas eve.

22,500km, leather, 19s, GPS, nice and clean example, having never owned a Ford previously, I'm pretty impressed so far.

Cheers,
Marc

hello
allan here havent posted before, but her goes.
i have fitted a 85le 4 speed auto to my 78 cortina 6, cant seem to select over drive im assuming its because i havent wired up the throttle position sensor, as i dont have a w/diagram that shows this.
the tps sensor has an orange, green/black, black/white and transmission controller has blue/red, blue/white, blue/green/red tracer.
if anyone could steer my in the right direction i would appreciate it
