So I'll add them anyway - That brings back memories. We took six humpies down to Calder in the '60's to compete in a Vic v NSW meeting and I still have 8mm film of it. Norm Beechy was also there in his Nova putting on a show. Had a laugh when the scrutineers weren't going to pass one of our car as being to noisy. Beechy’s mechanic, Claude Morton was next in line with the Nova so I asked him to start it up and give it a rev. When he did and it nearly deafened all of us our car was passed without further comment. |
