There already is when you become a donating member. In general. Here’s the deal. Moderators spend their own time reading everything and they do it for free; are selected in the first place because they show balance in reading the written word but sometimes get it wrong. On top of everything else they might be doing at the time there is enough dedication to try and maintain a standard that is in accordance to site guidelines. Some subjects have a history and it’s not about moderators not having the ability to argue merits or any other crazy notion. In most cases that section of site admin can handle the vernacular very well and don’t need to sit behind protection. If there are issues regarding moderation or concerns about performance they must be taken to the individual involved as a way of common manners. If that doesn't achieve a mutual resolve then that’s what admin is here for. When things turn to an argument someone enviably has to have the last say. That will always be the site admin, like it or not. Sometime’s situation are not as clear cut. Moderation standards are monitored but just keep in mind the sheer amount of traffic this site conducts and keep a wider perspective. Do not attempt to air grievance in open forum again. This is also one thread type that never has a happy ending. Regards Ian
