Cover up the front end of that bentley with your hand and it looks 5x sexier

Timeless, ageless, sexiest design ever. There is not one flaw - perfectly balanced aesthetically from any and every angle. Simply indisputable.

Remember that compared to most of the modern exotics the E-Type was a mass produced volume seller and was quite affordable.

They were also cramped for anyone over 6ft amd didn't handle that well without work , and being a ja you needed a lot of special tools like 30cm feelers , I had anAustin A35 wth a 3l capri V6 fitted that blew the doors off the etypes around town ( great thing to drive t school)

So if you read the OP and thread title you'll see the point; which your post has totally missed.

I agree 100%. I love the GT, but the DB9 Volante in the flesh truly is a spectacularly beautiful car.

Yeap had the back end of one in my avatar for a while, awesome story behind the car too.

Problem with these topics that compare different decades is that building and material methods where so different it makes it also impossible.

Its hard to judge what is a good design, if time is anything to go by then the 911 would have to be up there.

Never really looked at the Zonda before. Must say there is something very 'Homer' about it!

Lagonda in the late 1930's;'s was quite a motor car but I think the Jag xk120 from the mid 40's was certainly for it's day the best looking , Personally I would onsell the jags I have to own a 120 (or a d type)
