I do get the point that they typically sit in a cabinet and don't move, fair call. Its more about the feel of quality I guess, and if its costing them less I notice that the price hasn't dropped either.

I will still buy one as I am trying to get a 1:18 of all GT's (road) eventually.

No idea why anyone would expect the price to go down.

1. The attention to detail is 10 times that of the x series metal 1.18 (the increase in the detail would obviously add to the cost)

2. No way can you cast metal to be that small and intricate.

Very nice WAR40T! The detail in that is awesome, right down to the interior window switches and blue ford logo on the wheel centers! Very impressive

No chrome button on the handbrake is a deal breaker for me

Overall, impressive reproduction of the car. Having owned an EF many moons ago however (I think) the shape of the tail lights is slightly off.

That won't stop me getting a burgundy one when they are released though!

Just wait with the customisation that 3D print and scanning will allow.
1:18 station wagons, Fairlanes, drop T3 motors into EL XR8's haha
Would love to see 1:18 post classic Fairmont station wagons, but the volumes will never be there for the companies to make them.
