ive used the pen previously, it worked fine, last about 4 months, very time consuming to get it good. they still sell it at super cheap auto. i love white writing on tyres. that looks awesome against the red.

hmmmm.... there has to be a simple answer...
What about sikaflex 252 in white? 252 is the automotive sealant/adhesive by memory - just thin it down with a thinning agent, maybe turps even. ...worth a try? : James |

i couldnt find a white texta at home yesterday, but i found a silver one...
so i did one of the fulda logos... left it to dry and as an after thought i sprayed some "spray fixative" on it : the stuff artists use to stop their artwork from smudging... well after 140kays there are a few cracks and bits peeled up... its raining today so that will be the real test.

Do a test without the sealant to check that its not the sealant causing it to crack.

At work we have a product on the shelf made by Mitsubishi (weird I know) and it is a white marker specifically designed to write on tyres. Looks to be ok, never used it though. It goes for $10 and any autobarn will be able to get it. If you get stuck looking for it let me know and I'll post up the part number for it.

I have been doing a lot of experiments, and have found a possible answer, it is a white paint pen from Artline.
they are about 8 bucks per pen and can write on metal, rubber, wood anything really. I gave my tyre a thorough clean with hot soapy water, once this had dried I used the pen and highlighted the writing. 3 weeks later the writing has just worn off, part of the reason is that my tyre had an argument with the gutter. I am going to redo the lettering today after giving my car a good wash. Cheers |

The Mitsubishi one I mentioned:
PN: PX203 (this is in the autobarn system so if you go to a store and they dont have it on the shelf, quote this number and they can look it up) Cost: $9.99. Says it is suitable for Rubber, Metal, Glass, Plastic and Wood, and is just like a permanent marker style pen that you use.
