1980 XD 4.1 Auto bought as first car in 1981
1971 VW Karmann Ghia bought as project car in 1983 sold 2008 as 3 time winner ! 1985 XF Fairmont 4.1 bought as demo in 1985 1989 NA Fairlane 3.9 I didn't own these next three technically but they were my daily drivers. 1992 Mercedes 300E W124 bought new through employer 1997 Mercedes E320 W210 bought new through employer 2004 Mercedes AMG W211 E500 bought new through employer Around 1998 I got a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7L ....for towing the boat. Traded it on a Territory last year which is my wife's DD. 2008 moved into my own business paying for cars myself again ! 2008 VW Passat 3.0 (shockingly poor car) 2010 Falcon G6 50th Anniversary edition is my current daily driver and acquired new .... won in a raffle actually ! Best thing that could have happened to me. Really nice car and made me appreciate Fords again. Currently shopping for 2012 FG Mk II GTE Turbo. Last edited by drpopper; 05-04-2012 at 01:28 AM. |

I probably already have a list in here somewhere but oh well i'll go again:
-1976 Toyota Corolla KE30 - Paddock basher the day it ran out of rego, worked motor, bucket seats etc. Fun car that never got a single dent on it and we sold later on down the line. -1987 Toyota Corolla - POS that I sold to a mate and paddock bashed. -1990 Ford XF Panelvan - My first road car, Shaved, resprayed, lowered, mags, extractors/exhaust, tint, big stereo etc. Still miss it and wish I never sold it. -1990ish Holden VN commodore - Lowered, mags etc turn into a POS so sold it pretty quick. -1967 XR Falcon 500 wagon - had it for 6 years now and is my big project car. -1996 EF II Fairmont Ghia - Had it for 4 years now. Lowered, mags, 19s, stereo, exhaust etc. Got it not long after I got my red P's and started to do it up. Has lasted countless burnouts, towing cars on trailers, long distance trips etc and last year with 330,000kms on it still ran a 15.6 at WSID with a giant trolley jack, tyres and tools in the boot. Never done a head gasket or anything. Is a workhorse. - 1984 XE Fairmont - TUFFXE My fun car im rebuilding to play in while I build the XR wagon. 500hp tunnelrammed stock stroke 351 cleveland, full manual C4, spooled 3.9 borgwarner diff with 28 spline axles, lowered with koni adjustables etc. Still in the middle of building. - 1984 XE S-pack - Parts car -1974 LH Torana - Another project that'll probably never get finished lol Few other cars in the family but you get the idea.

2000 Holden VX S Pack - Great first car, did everything I wanted. Sold it because I fell in love with the XR6 and was saving alot so I could buy one.
2004 Ford BA XR6 - Perfect car, in perfect condition. Had to sell it as I bought it outright and was having trouble keeping it going with the money I was making. 1997 Holden VS S Pack - Complete piece of ****. Bought it as a cheap car to get around in and had so many issue with it that I had a huge smile on my face when I sold it. Currently driving a 2004 Nissan X-Trail and it's great. My dad took care of it since he purchased it and it hasn't skipped a beat. |

Hi Guys,
For me it is as follows: 1970 Mini Deluxe - had a morris 1100 motor, great fun first car, poor location of distributer meant it didnt like heavy rainy days. 1990 - 1992 1979 Ford TE Cortina Ghia - 250/4sp Manual combo. Got it at 233,000 kms and did another 200,000 trouble free kms in it in 12 years. 1992 - 2004 (I regret that I sent it to a wrecker - dumb dumb dumb) 1995 Ford EF Fairmont - Bourdeux paint, added tickford bodykit/wheels, then lowered it and added an exhaust. Great family cruiser. 1999 - 2003 2001 Holden VX2 Commodore. Followed Brighty to Holden in the HRT days. Was a good car, but one day I drove an XR8 and that was it for the general. 2003 - 2005. 1991 Mazda Astina SP. Replaced the Cortina as my runabout. 2003 - 2008. Written off when tree fell on it. 2003 Ford BA Falcon XR8 - Phantom. Followed Brighty back to Ford LOL. This is still the family cruiser. Currently 117,000kms on the clock. 6.5 years of ownership so far and we still love it. No plans to ever get rid of it. I want to see at least 200,000kms click over. 2005 - current. 1996 Mitsubishi TE Magna - Good car, replaced Astina as 2nd car. 2008 - current, soon to depart. 2006 Mazda 6 Luxury Sports hatch - Just purchased to share family duties with the XR8. Great car, looks good and plenty of features. 2012 - current Cheers Steve |

1976 Hj Premier Wagon, 308 Th400 GTS dash etc etc(was owned by former ranking GMH engineer in the day) later had some head work, valves, cam, 4500stall might have run 12-13's but never track tested it
1994 Honda Civic EG (Why) mainly got as I was competing in SPL comps at the time. Ran a decent high 14.9 (g-tech time whatever they were called back then) with D15B7 with worked head and cam and other sh\t they put on those things (not vtec) 1985 MQ Nissan Patrol 6cyl, awesome thrash about daily driver! 1985 MQ Nissan Patrol SBchev, using 300zx clutch and MARKs adapter kit (bellhousing - flywheel) Guy who built it claimed it made 340hp at wheel....hmm maybe not, but still went pretty well, good for playing with and beating the late model commo V8's 2000 Suzuki Djebel (bike)(still got, currently getting engine work done) 1978 HZ 4 door premier 253. Mint factory condition. unmolested. Sold to fund future engine work on BA... 1979 HZ one tonner 4 speed 6cyl,Mint condition body, untill I went bush at narangba and the roof cracked (1/2 ton of bog then found).. extractors carb. Fast as a council bus...nearly (musta been the weight of the bog) 1979 F100 LWB XLT 351c 4 spedd 4WD (still got. has minor head work and cam, but on gas, so kinda kills it. ) 2003 Ba xr6t sedan only 400+rwhp but more to come. Intercooler, injectors, sct flash, wastegate and turbo mod,4inch dump twin 2.5 x-force system,14 psi -12.5 @114 now has 2800-3000 stall. (have now got a second engine to build up for some decent numbers! Project or other cars which were sh/t or not registered that I owned are 19XX HQ 2-door Monaro (project car Which I never finished....duh) 19XX MQ Nissan Patrol diesel, was to be converted to V8 untill i bought one already done. 19XX HX sedan 4 door 6 cyl, bought for its awesome color (some green) 19XX XA 302 ute C4 1981 (i think) Yamaha IT250-H Alloy monoshock. Recently rebuilt eng and g/box 19XX XC Fairmont V8 auto, used for having fun paddock bashing, 1979 HZ 4 door 6cyl 19XX Vl commodore sedan (recently purchased to place a turbo ford 6 into it....BUT I now wish to use it in my BA...will be slower as it weights 20 million tons...BUT I want! what do people think? Not many for me yet but anyway.
1st car I owned at 16, and learnt to drive in was a 1986 XF Falcon 3.3l with no powersteer, 4spd manual and around 400,000kms on the clock, still goes like new (still drive it occasionally, the old man keeps it in rego for when I visit down home). 2. 1995 EF Futura. 3. 2005 BAII XR6T bought it in 2009 and still have it but with 342rwkw and as a daily drive. 4. 2010 Mazda CX-7 (got it for the Mrs.) Next car thinking a FG F6 or the SC 5.0 GT prob not untill end of next year at least.
