1st: 1980 Toyota Corona - Bought for $50, 5 speed maual, rear wheel drive, unlicenced 'rally' car, most notable thing happening to it was rolling both tyres off the rims on one side whilst taking a corner with all my mates inside, we then had a 5 kay walk back home for a pump.

2nd: 1985 XF Falcon - My first licensed car, was awesome, decided to put in a new motor but the rest of the car fell apart around it.

3rd: 1994 ED Futura - Took me up North and back, about 7000km round trip, loved sitting on 150km/h on the great northern highway without any complaints.

4th: 2000 AU XL ute, didn't have it long, 5 speed manual, high kays. Sold it to a young bloke and its now pretty much wrecked, covered in dents, blew the clutch and diff within 2 months of owning it.

5th and current: AU XLS V8 Ute, Most likely going to hang onto this for a while, been modding it slowly, been a few setbacks with smashed tailgate which is now fixed...then hit a roo and the left side is a bit buggered.

'76 XC GS V8 panel van - excellent car all round
HR Premier ( bought for $350, fitted with carpet and sold for $500)
AP5 Valiant - push button automatic - sold for $40
TC Cortina
Gemini hatchback - heap of crap
'80 XD S pack
TC Cortina 250 - 3sp on the floor
XE Falcon - boring as
'74 TA22 Celica - excellent car and still own it
EB Fairmont - probably the most reliable out of the lot
BA XR6 - current car

A Pom selection here:1990 Vauxhall Astra 1.3L 5 door estate (tint, alloys, 2x12" subs, big bore back box, K+N filter, 75 bhp)

1991 Vauxhall Nova 1.4 SR 3 door hatch (alloys, Janspeed exhaust, K+N from the aforementioned Astra, Astra GTE 16v steering wheel, Rockford 12" sub, 80 bhp)

1995 Citroen ZX 1.4 5 door hatch (Pioneer CD player with JBL speakers, Oakley sticker in back window, 75 bhp)

1995 Ford Mondeo 1.8 LX 5 door hatch (RS 16" alloys, spoiler, Piper stainless exhaust, 12" Pioneer sub, colour coded everything myself, 115 bhp)

1990 Ford Granada 2.0 GLi 5 door hatch (bought for 165 quid as a run around in 2004 before I emigrated, sold for 250 quid 3 months later! 115bhp but rear wheel drive)

In Melbourne:
2004 Hyundai Elantra (crap)

2000 Ford Fairmont Ghia 4.0 VCT (Wife drives still, low kms, but too powerful for her cos she keeps spinning the wheels and getting herself into a tis)

1990 Holden Apollo 2.0 Executive sedan (the 'Appalling' as it was nicknamed, peeling paint, 265,000kms on the clock and still going strong apparently, sold to a neighbour for his son-in-law)

My car now: 2007 Subaru Liberty 2.0R (Satnav, climate, 6 disc stacker that works, but had to buy a new car due to new job with car allowance.)

The future: a 3rd car for the driveway, have a few grand to spend and it must feature a 351 lump under the bonnet. Anyone got anything interesting?
