man what a fecked up scenario for juicy and mattrix.

i can't beleive how fecking bold these theves are! my mate just had his evo broken into in broad daylight and they stole his stereo and eight thousand dollar recaro's.

bad thing is that its just too hard to trace unless the crim is a total moron or druggie. what a world.

YOU CAN'T replace a car, especially if it's something like what these two blokes have created.

If it's a busted **** Camry or something similar with no style, personality or any such character, then yes, you can replace it with one of the identical souless, mass produced copies running around the place and you wouldn't notice the difference.

A one off creation such as the Jucy-mobile is exactly that. A one off.
You might pour a similar amount of blood, sweat and tears into another car to build a replica, but it won't be the same.

If my XD ute ever gets pinched, and someone says this to me, I will turn off their supply of life.

It took me 15 years to find my ute, and I'm damned if I'll spend another 15 years to find another factory 351!!!!!

Ive never had my car stolen , and probly because of the lengths I go to but I can imagine how you feel ! I have had my tools adn all my race gear and spares stolen from my ute before ! Every one on this site is feeling yoru pain and hopeing against all odds that you may be fortunate enough get all or even some of your cars back!

Mattrix calm down a little , we are on your side here , and dont let these theiving scum take your trust in all people ! There are many people left in this world worth trusting ! Just becuse some dresses like a westie , doesnt mean he or she knows what happened to your car !

this is even more the reason why i'll never buy a nice daily driver.....
buy a crappy datto ute for the week and leave that in the carport, and hide the xw in the shed at the back of the property with the dogs.
can't trust nobody these days and best to think the worst.

I agree and sympathise with Juicy, I've had a project of mine stolen as well so I know what it feels like and I've been there... I've had 3 cars stolen. My premium for my daily driver went from 1200 to 5000 in the space of 1 year.

But when someone gets their car stolen and they have thoughts of running over random people on the street because of it, it's time to put the loss of the car in perspective.

My apologies Rod, yeah good point.
Not much you can do about a stolen car if you're in the slammer!

The intention of my post was not to go crook at you, but more a voice of displeasure of that often used saying.

I've just re-read (again) the relevant post by Mattrix & I can now see where you're coming from.

Sadly society has come to this but I thought Gosford would be a little more secure than Sydney. Gone are the ethics of 'if you want something, work hard for it and you'll achieve it' because it's seeming much easier just to steal it. It ****es me off too that whoever the lowlife was who took the car wouldn't have even thought twice how it would affect the lives of those who owned it.

My project was stolen never to be seen again (XW 75% complete), I then had my VQ Statesman stolen twice.. first a month after the XW, again 2 months after that and a failed attempt another month after. I probably wouldn't have minded as much if it was never recovered as well, but both times the car was found stripped in the same spot in Mt Druitt. When my premium shot up to 5000 I traded it in on an EF.

Sorry to inform you that the Central Coast, which used to be a holiday destination for Sydneyites is now a sattelite city, much like Penrith. It is boganville where everyone is unemployed, smokes pot and most people drive VN commodores with body kits and mags costing 4 times the car's worth.

Very sad... 1 of the 2 motorbikes that have been stolen from me was taken from Gosford...

Iam with you on this being a car nut & spending many hours & money on them they are a part of you life. The car in my avatar my old 82 collector vette I sold in 98 still cutts me why I sold it. But had to finish my house reno's off & complete my buick sitting in the shed in the image . As one of creations or rare models you are part of their history as these type of cars normally end up at car shows & car club runs for many years after the old Toyota family hack has been recycled

Wyong was the crime capital of australia, at least a few years ago. I imagine not much has changed. And fauxpas is right on the money, it is seriously bogan central.

and no, i haven't heard of that quarry though it sounds like it could be worth a visit. might have to look it up on the map coz i don't have a clue where that would be...?

that's a nice vette, Buickman, I bought a vette back in july that still hasn't arrived, hence why i'm disturbingly broke at the moment. I don't know what i'll do about security for that, but it'll definitely be something un-foilable.

you get off the F3 and onto that road with all the roundabouts on it which takes you over the trainline and will eventually take you to long jetty and the entrance. anyway if your heading towards the entrance itll be on your right, im sure its near the "mingara" centre or tuggerah station... pretty vague i know.

ill ask dad when he gets back.

had a look at a map, maybe the tumbi umbi area...

Jesus guys.. my hearts really goes out to you two. I know i'll never forget that heart sinking feeling upon returning to an empty car spot. It honestly turns my stomach inside out knowing that such disrespectful sons of b*tches exist and actually have the balls to take something that isn't theirs - no matter how big or small. Even though the odds of getting the cars back in one piece are against you guys, i honestly do hope that everything works out. I can't wait to cross paths with the bastards that took my baby.. heads, arms and legs will be broken

well, i had some revelations over the weekend and realised that it's time to move on, forgive and forget, the more messed up about it that i get, the more the bastards have won. they've taken my car, they're not gonna take me sanity and sense of well being. i realised that sometimes it's beyond hoping that the car will appear or that maybe i've learned some lesson in life, stuff all that crap, it's just about the response you have, and i am responding by forgiving the *****/s, they can have it, i'm moving on with my life and i know that at least my life will count for something because i'm a decent human being and s**t like this just bounces right off me. sure i'm still a little clouded in the brain because of the whole thing, but i've changed my attitude and hopefully that makes the difference... I hope MrJucy can find resolve...

Look I'm a realist, so I fully realise there is a good chance I'll never see my car again.
Getting angry at the world doesn't help but neither does giving up hope, all I need is one part to show up somewhere & it will lead straight back to them.
This is why I'm letting every person I can know, to give me eyes & ears across the country to hopefully one day recover anything I can & see these guys spending some quality time with Big Bubba in gaol.

yeah, the big bubba in gaol bit would certainly be nice for people that do this. I guess it's hard when you want to be optimistic and hopeful but also you have to be realistic. Time for me to hit up the next car project i spose...

i live at budgewoi (northern end of wyong shire) and i can leave my keys in the car over night, ive never been broken into sh#t i even leave my mower and whipper snipper in the front yard.
my car did get stolen once from the loacal shopping centre but they got the guy and his mate and they were both from Newcastle and heading to sydney.
the car they stole from newcastle was parked next to where mine was taken
so dont judge the central coast(a very big place) because gosford is a hole(40min from me)

im sorry about your car being stolen too have you tryed askin around the wrecking yards there are some shady looking yards at west gosford
and wyong (town)

the quarie thing somone was talkin about is gone now its where tuggrah buisness park is now

i spend a lot of time in wrecking yards on the central coast and western sydney so i will keep my eyes open and let you know if i see anything.

cheers Rod

yeah, there's always exceptions to the rule. i would certainly love to live in one of the safer parts of the central coast, it's a nice area (in physical terms, like beaches and lakes etc), but too many bogans and gosford is crap.

My parents have a house in Noraville not far from Budgiewoi & it's been broken into, our house in Sydney never has been. People shouldn't kid themselves no where is amune to it even if they may congregate in certain areas criminals do travel.

Fact: NRMA (and most insurers) will charge less for insurance premiums for cars on the Central Coast than in Sydney!

I moved from the inner west of Sydney to the coast my insurance went from $2300 p/a to $1100 p/a. Its safer than Sydney. But it's still a hole!
