Hi there peoples. Last night my passenger window was smashed (or at least cracked and tempered) as presumably some low-lives tried to break into my car. They didn't...so nothing was stolen. But now I'm left with the bill. Do I gotta go to one of those windscreen places or can I do this myself? I've never actually had a window broken before so yeah...what sorta cost am I looking at? not that hard to do yourself just go to the wreckers and got a second hand one for cheaper that should lesson the pain

you can do it yourself, as suggested go to wreakers, or trawl through ebay and buy from there....dont go to ford, they will charge some rediculous amount for sure. then its fairly simple, remove door card, remove old window and fit new one....this may require losening one of the rails, but its not hard to do
