Ok. I want to spend a little bit of money on myself and I have three things in mind to buy (all roughly around the same price) but I need some help with what to choose....
1. New Phone ***** I want a new phone more than I actually 'need' one. My phone is still fine for the meantime, it's still pretty up-to-date. It would be cool to have something new to play with though. 2. Skateboard ***** Ive been eyeing off a few decks and am really looking forward to getting one. I cant think of much of a downfall to getting a board apart from that it isnt really essential at this time. I need some relaxation so it would be good in that sence. 3. Drum Skins ***** Ive been a drummer for four years now but I havent played in over a year and a half. Reason being because I need new drum skins, BADLY. Since the boyfriend and I broke up I have needed my drums to lash out some emotions on, however I havent been able to. The only bad thing is there are only certain times of the day that I can play so its not an all-rounder sort of thing. Please tell me what you think would be best... Thanks in advance. |

Go for the skins!
I've only recently gotten back into playing guitar, as I didn't have have much time over the last few years... Don't worry about times ect... we used to play well after 10pm, and the neighbors wouldn't dare complain lol :P

i think he means they were having a full band over jammin at after 10pm. i've had neighbours whinge about me drumming at 7pm, so i'd just get out my guitar, get the amps out and crank em up.
oh, i rekon new skins of course. but i'm biased |

1. stick with a 3310
2. 'boarding won't get you far thru the burbs, spend on the EB (see point 4) 3. skins >> real drums. 80s synth sickness FTW! 4. Gunns is god. Listen to him. 5. Invest in Yoplait and Linfox with me :P |

As much as I'd really like to say 'get the skins' (I've been playing drums for 14 years) I have to go with Gunns and his #4 suggestion.
You don't need a new phone unless the one you've got is broken, you don't need to skate it only brings injuries. Turboing the car you have is expencive but it's much cheaper than buying a BA. So turbo your car, or don't and just buy the skins. |
