Default Newest Mod, not sure about this one.

G'Day guys.

The plastic trim around my shifter on my focus had a scratch in it, and as you would know its a weird finish, almost a rubbery finish.

So I entirely wet sanded off the rubber finish back to the base plastic, and hit it with some paint. Im still undecided if I like the new look or if I should go back to black?

What's everyone else think? I wasn't one of those mods you do where you love it straight away.

Only from Ford because they ones in the US are LHD....I got caught out when I bought some Ford Racing ones. I'm sure the UK ones are RHD. Just make sure before you purchase them

Be ready to pay about $200+ from Ford. But worth it in my opinion. It's not like you go out and buy pedals every service

In the LR Zetec, that part is a different colour (silver) to the rest of the centre console anyway. Hard to see the texture from the photo, but the colour looks good.

Is that a Richbrook knob? Great look

The texture is just straight and smooth, and its a metallic silver finish which by fluke is nearly an exact match for the handbrake lever.

And yeah its a richbrook slant knob, one of the nicest I've had. Going to buy another for my ute.

Photn, thanks for the link mate.

LR, I'm an idiot. Just went and checked. The console is grey, the gear surround is black. Just ignore me. But I like what you've done.

I have the Richbrook slant top as well. Brilliant knob (The Richbrook....not me Adam! LOL)

Yeah when you said it was a different colour it got me google-ing ha ha.

I knew the zetec's radio / ac facia was a different colour, like a dark silver and I thought it might have been that colour.

Just waiting till monday now so I can check prices of the pedals and a few other bits from ford against this www.fordpartsuk.com . And hopefully I will get some new bits
